Alzheimer’s disease is relentless. So are we.
Our family was effected by Alzheimer’s, in 2016 we lost our mother/grandma/our best friend to Alzheimer’s. Living without her has been hard, but we have devoted our times into raising awareness and money to help those in need! We love being able to share our story but also hear about others!
From Lauren: My grandma was my number one supporter, she made sure to always tell me how proud she was of me. Life has been pretty hard the last three years not having her around to remind me. I miss the reassurance that no matter what, I was doing a good job. Today, I devote my life to her - I continue my education, I strive for my goals, I travel to new places, all for her, while raising awareness about this horrible disease that took her from being apart of my future. I know I’m continuing to make her proud, but I can’t wait for the one day I can hear her say those words again.
