My wife Cheryl was diagnosed in 2012 at the age of 47. At last years walk, I realized that it was going to be the last walk that Cheryl was going to attend because her decline was going to prevent her from being able to go. Little did I know that it was not only her last walk, but she would physically not be here to attend.
Even though Cheryl has gone home, my family has benefited so much from the Alzheimer's association and we want to give back.
This is year three of the friendly competition between Normal, Indianapolis and West Chester. As some of you may know, Kevin has moved to Indianapolis, and this makes the competition a little lop sided as now we only have two teams, Indianapolis and Normal. Our goal as a team this year is to raise more than 8000.00 dollars. Please help the Myers team honor Cheryl in the best way we can and raise more money than ever.
The Alzheimer's Association does more than try to find a cure. They provide support for those with Alzheimer's and for those who care for them. The Alzheimer's Association has made a difference for our family and that is why we raise money and awareness.
Please give what you can.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
