I am walking for my seventh year, in honor of the Yung matriarch, PoPo Nancy. I am walking to support the millions of people that are affected by this disease. By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care, and support. I have also committed my career as a neuropsychologist to neurocognitive research, diagnostics, and treatment of the disease.
Currently, there are more than 5 million Americans that have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future, including you, me, our parents, our children, and even our future grandchildren, are at risk unless we find a way to change the course of this devastating disease.
I need your support to do my part! Please consider making a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments, and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions of people, both individuals and caregivers, affected by the disease, the Association is there for support, care, education, and resources in the community.
Thank you for joining the movement and please consider donating to this worthwhile cause! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here with you and your generous donation.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
