I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I work with the Association to honor my mom and dad. My mom, Kathryn McCall, was a teacher who had a quick wit and vibrant personality. She loved history and government, so she and dad traveled the U.S. and the world before Alzheimer's ended their travels. She died from Alzheimer's, and my dad, Ted McCall cared for her at home throughout the course of the disease. What this disease took from her broke all our hearts, especially my dad's.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease, so no one else has to lose another loved one to this disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
