My personal story. Almost two years ago pretty close to this time my mom came down with Alzheimer's I never thought this would happen in a million years, although she had dementia it just came on rapidly and neither one of my sister or I knew what to do. We were at a loss we never thought our mother would get sick at the same time as our father, and you never think something like this would happen to somebody so good, so gentle and so kind. My father passed this year June 3rd so this means more to me than ever because she is all I have left.
But we soon realized that Alzheimer's doesn't randomly choose who it's going to affect, it seems to get the best of us. I have seen the worst of the worst lately and I cry everyday. I know that maybe my mother will not be alive for any medicine or even a cure to be found but in her honor I hope to do what I can to help others not have to face the same fate as my family. Please if you can donate, nothing is too small and everything helps. Just imagine if this happened to somebody you love what would you do, I bet you would give anything to help them like I would so please help us! Stop this awful tragedy from taking more lives each year. I pray that you never know what it's like personally to have a family member or yourself to have Alzheimer's I wouldn't wish it on anyone it is the hardest thing I've ever been through and I've been through a lot so please do what you can to help us fight this thing and beat it for good.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
And this is not just an honor of my mother this is an honor of every person, every family member who takes these walks every year to, finally one day see the first person with Alzheimer's who is cured that is the goal. That's why we do this please don't let us do this in vain please donate and God bless all of you thank you for listening to my message
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
