It's different this year. Everything is. While we are still blessed that my dad is still here physically everyday presents new challenges. When I signed my team up Covid -19 didn't exist. And then it did. 2020 has been a heck of a ride. Then the walk went virtual and I wasn't sure whether to proceed or not. But then I realized nothing has changed. So we will all walk separately but together on Nov 7. This disease is still destroying lives and families daily. So maybe now it's even more important to raise funds and awareness. So we will carry on
For the third year I and whoever will join me will be fighting this beast. I know times are tough. If you are able please share this page or if you can donate even better! My hope is that soon we find a cure so no other family has to experience what we do daily So that we can help lead the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R). Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's! God Bless
