The fight for a cure continues and with your help we will get another step closer to the first survivor. I wish that would be my mom, but I know that it won’t. It could be your parent, your aunt/uncle, or sister/brother or friend, and, if not, your children.
Given the pandemic, the annual Alzheimer’s Walk where thousands of people come together to show their support for the fights against Alzheimers will not occur this year out of an abundance of caution.
So, as an alternative, I’ve decided to walk 90 miles between October 5 to November 5 in honor of my mom, Dottie Ziemer, who turned 90 years old this year. My goal is to raise $5,000 by November 5 in support of the critical research and resources still required. I hope you’ll join me in this fight and donate any amount you can. Every dollar counts, and as I said, will take us another step closer to the cure. I’m confident your help will make a difference.
I’d appreciate it if you’d share this request with your family and friends on the chance they’d want to help, too!
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease!
