Lifespan is proud to have been a sponsor of the Walk to End Alzheimer's since its inception 26 years ago. We believe strongly in giving back to our community and supporting the Alzheimer's Association is one way we do this. Events will look different this year, but our determination to support the cause is as strong as ever.
Lifespan is dedicated to serving the aging population in Santa Cruz County which includes an increasing number of families facing the challenges of dementia. We provide a wide range of direct care, social engagement, and respite to many clients and families affected by Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. Compassion and a person-centered approach is key in helping each client live their best life every day of their life regardless of their cognition.
We look to the Alzheimer's Association as a leader in the areas of expanding awareness, education, caregiver support, and advocating for research funding. In this time when COVID-19 safety protocols are necessary to protect our most vulnerable, we understand that persons and families dealing with dementia need additional support to combat forced isolation so our team of Lifespan staff and other caring individuals believes it is more important than ever to support the 2020 effort to end Alzheimer's. Please join us and contribute to this critical cause.
