I walk for my mom who has Younger Onset Alzheimer's. When I was 22, she was diagnosed with the disease and I moved back home to help. A few years ago I walked with my mom, but as my mom's disease has progressed, I now walk with all the friends I have made (and got closer to) during this journey. She now doesn't know who I am, but I want to honor her memory and walk so others don't have to go through what she does.
Today I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide. As my mom's disease progresses, I've used the resources of the Alzheimer's Association, from their website to their 24/7 talk line.
Thank you for joining the movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with you.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
