This year marks five years without Tom, and 15 years since our family was changed forever. Each fall, I am reminded that another anniversary will pass without Tom; this year would have been our 26th. Maddie's birthday celebration will happen without her father. We celebrate Tom's birthday by sharing our favorite memories, pictures, and love for the man we miss so much. We also participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's to honor his memory and raise funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. This year will be different; the Walk will be everywhere - on every sidewalk, track and trail. The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in the isolation of many Alzheimer's patients, especially those living alone, and families have been unable to see or touch their loved ones for months. It is heartbreaking. The work of the Alzheimer's Association is more important than ever, and I am proud to be a part of an organization that has tirelessly supported my family for 15 years. If you have been touched by this disease and are worried about your family and friends, please consider a donation to our Walk Team. One day, there will be a cure. In the meantime, so many families, like mine, depend on this incredible organization to support them every step of the way. Thank you so much for your donation. Kim, Maddie and Leah #ENDALZ
