IN MEMORY OF...
Shirley (Mom) and Lydia (TuTu) Pereira
Here we are again, another year has gone by and we're still in the fight to find a cure for this devastating disease. I can't believe it's been 4 years since Moms passing, I think about her and miss her every day. My mission continues as I raise funds and promote awareness about Alzheimer's/Dementia.
Last year, I'm grateful to announce that I had new members join my team and I meet so many new friends at the walk.
I also enjoyed my fourth year as an Alzheimer's Association Walk committee member and my second year running my own Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group in the Lake Balboa area. I'm honored to be involved with a team of amazing people who are just as passionate as I am about finding a cure. We're always looking for people to join us, so if you're interested in helping, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you to those who have donated to this cause, walked with us on walk day, and all who continue to support us in our mission to find a cure for Alzheimer's Disease. Because of you, we have raised $22,596.00 to date and I am truly grateful!!!
Every year I raise money to find a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease.
I walk for me because I can inherit this disease,
I walk for my family who can also inherit this disease,
I walk for you because you may get this disease
and most of all,
I walk every year in memory of the beautiful woman I'm honored to call my Mom.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
