I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
My team will not be walking because of COVID-19 but all donations are greatly appreciated. I will be walking the 2 miles with my mask on.
Honoring and remembering my amazing, courageous Dad each year when I wear a sailor hat with his Navy Submarine pins/awards to walk in finding a cure. This horrible disease needs to be stopped yesterday....and thus we mark the 5th Anniversary since you left me. I am sadden with pain still in my heart watching you suffer the way you did, so unfair yet I know now you are in a much better place and at peace.
You always stood so proud your entire life and during the 7 years since you were diagnosed as well. I look up to you daily and miss you so very very much, my heart continues to be broken and that crack will always remain until I see you again. I miss and love you my precious Dad forever and always.
Your loving Daughter XOXO ⚓
