Jack could think of nothing he would rather do for a living, but serve on a police force (well, maybe professional baseball). Jack started as a Police Cadet in 1968 prior to entering the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) training arena. He entered the LAPD in 1968 in the accident investigation division until major surgery rendered him ineligible for the force. After mending, Jack was hired on at El Segundo Police Department where he was promoted to Sergeant, than Lieutenant, and later Captain; and in 2001 promoted to Chief of Police; a very fulfilling career.
All of us that really know Jack, know he is witty, bright, friendly, capable and steadfast with family and friends. Although Jack is fighting Alzheimer's, he is still the witty, bright, friendly, capable and the steadfast guy we know and love! And we thank our family and friends for being loving and understanding through this journey. Thank you all for your generous donations to the Alzheimer's Association - we truly believe there will be a cure soon!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
