My dad is one of the most brilliant people I know. Growing up just watching him work, there was nothing he couldn't do. He could build or fix anything he set his mind to. He's my real life Superman! It's painful to know that one day that brilliant mind may be gone. To know that the man I look up to most will never be the same. To know that my children will never know the the amazing man I knew. It's even more difficult to look at things from his perspective. I'm walking in hopes that we will one day find a cure so that brilliant minds like his won't be lost to this disease.
