The Walk to End Alzheimer's means "Faith, Hope, and Love, But the greatest of these is Love" 1 Corinthians 13:13. I have faith and am very hopeful that there will be a cure for this horrible disease in the very near future, but I have unconditional love for my family and friends that are either going through this or have already completed their journey through it. For this reason, I am helping in leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I am honoring members of the Jones/Willis and Green families and friends who have either died from or is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. I also honor the caregivers of these honorees for helping their loved ones as they are "Living Their Today."
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
