I am walking in the Walk to End Alzheimer's event on Saturday, October 12, 2019 because this cause is very personal to me. My mom is in the final stages of Alzheimer's and all we can do at this point is continue her medication as it is, but nothing will stop it from progressing or cure it. Chances are that there will not be any hope for her of a cure in her lifetime but we need to raise funds for research to hopefully find a cure so that the younger generation will have a chance to survive and live a normal life.
This disease is horrible and all you can do is hope that there is an amazing care giver in their life. For me, that amazing caregiver is my dad. He is devoting his life to make sure that mom is given the best care possible. My brother and his wife have also been so incredibly supportive and I am grateful for that as well.
I'm helping reclaim the future for millions by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R) Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 millions by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
The End Of Alzheimer's Disease Starts With You. Please Make A Donation To Help The Alzheimer's Association Advance Research Into Methods Of Treatment, Prevention And, Ultimately, A Cure.
I Am Creating This Team And Joining This Movement To Honor My Mom And Everyone Who Makes Her Life Easier And Enjoyable.
Please Join Me In This Fight By Either Walking With Us Or Making A Donation Or Both!!!!!
