My nana, the crocheting queen, had the sweetest soul, softest hands, sincerest smile, best hugs, and the most contagious laughter that could light up any room.
07.24.17, was the day my Nana was taken from this world and finally freed from this awful disease. While she was robbed of her mind and memories, her spirit, smile, and gentle nature will forever live on in mine.
I couldn’t save her, but I can enlist the help of others through awareness and donations that will support others facing this horrible illness and research in the hopes of finding a cure!
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
