I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
This cause is very close to my heart. In 2012, both of my husband's maternal grandparents were diagnosed with dementia. As their health quickly deteriorated we became acutely aware of how terrible this disease is and how far reaching its impacts can be, Sadly, Grammy and Grandpa have since passed, but those years of struggle and experience led us to the Alzheimer's Association. This will be our 7th Walk to End Alzheimer's and we hope you will join us in the fight! Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association and/or walk with us on October 6th at Roger Williams Park.
