Additionally, a couple years ago, my Dad was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. We found out that he had suffered 100s of mini-strokes that permanently affected his brain. His dementia journey ended this past June as he and Mom were reunited at the glorious table of God.
This year, Tom and I are unable to walk due to a prior commitment (wedding) in Pittsburgh. But I will gladly be raising money in memory of the best man that I know and the woman who was there for me unconditionally when I lost my Mom.
Please, if you can, help me reach my goal of $1000.00 by making a tax-deductible donation. You can visit my personal fundraising page to make a secure credit card donation online or download and print the paper form on my page to mail in with a check. All donations benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association — and every dollar makes a difference in this fight.
Thank you for your support. It means more to me than you will ever know. If you are unable to make a financial donation, no worries! Please pray for us! Pray for Team Busia's Bunch and Papa's Peeps, for my Dad's memory (Papa), for Busia, my family, nice weather, and a cure for Alzheimer's. And for all those dealing with a situation similar to mine, know that I am praying for you! If you're up to it, I'd love to have you walk with me!
God Bless! And Thanks <3
