I walk because my father died from this horrible illness. It took almost twenty years of his life. There were moments that were gifts. The end took his dignity, pride and spirit I do not wish that on any one to witness that is why I walk. I hope that my effort will help bring an end to a horrible illness were everyone involved suffers. Also, I feel there are very few of us that do not know someone who is effected by this illness. So, I am asking again for your continued support and generosity of heart to help fight this illness.
