The Fall 2019 “Walk to End Alzheimers” is September 14 at the Voice of America Park, 7850 VOA Park Drive, 45069.
I am asking for your help to make a difference in the life of someone with Alzheimer’s Disease or their caregiver.
Our team is starting our efforts to meet our $10,000 goal. Will you consider a donation today? I know we can do it together.
As many of you know, my father, Joe ("Old Man Brooks", his preferred nickname) passed away from Alzheimer's disease.
As a Geriatrician and previous caregiver, I am a strong supporter of the Alzheimer's Association and I know that while we search for a cure, the caregivers need us NOW. Speaking of Caregivers, we just celebrated Mother's Day and I thought of all the daughters who have cared for their Mother, Grandmother and Godmothers with Alzheimer's Disease while caring for their own children. The "sandwich generation" needs your support.
Any donation you make now through year's end will be attributed to our Walk Team "Old Man Brooks" fundraising efforts. The funds raised provide support for caregiver hotlines, education, resources, treatment and a cure to #ENDALZ. If you're in town, please join us in walking on our team at the Voice of America Park, West Chester, OH on Sat Sept 14, 2019. Registration is at 8:30 am and we walk at 10 am. If you cannot walk, kindly help me meet our team goal of raising $10,000.00 by making a donation of your choosing.
Dad would be humbled by your pledge of support but also, especially grateful.
Dad, all of the caregivers and I sincerely THANK YOU, Sally
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
