I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Here is why I walk:
- I walk to honor the memory of my late husband, Gary, who lost his battle with Alzheimer's in June of 2017.
- I walk to ensure caregivers and those suffering from Alzheimer's have access to the invaluable programs and services the Alzheimer's Association of Cincinnati offers, such as counseling and a 24/7 helpline.
- I walk because more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
