Paige Blotner and Rachel Sobel are co-captains of the #goforgold team this year supporting the Alzheimer's Association. They are walking in memory of Paige's grandfather, Howard Gold, who lost his battle with Alzheimer's in April of 2016. The fundraising team is committed to making a difference in the lives of everyone affected by this disease. They are determined to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research, care and support. Alzheimer's disease is the nation's 6th leading cause of death. They are walking to help reclaim the future for millions. We are all walking to honor an incredibly special person who meant the world to each one of us, Howard Gold.
Walk to End Alzheimer's is taking place on Sunday, October 20th, 2019 at Boulder's Stadium in Pomona, NY. Love to see you there, and if you cannot, please support this very important cause by donating to our team #goforgold. Please help us reach our team goal of $5,000 in Rockland.
Please see Paige Blotner and Rachel Sobel’s personal page. Once there you can make a secure credit card donation or mail in a check so they can continue to raise funds and reach their personal goals.
All donations benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association -- and this fight!
Currently, more than 5.8 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
