I'm walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the 2019 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's™, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.
Alzheimer’s disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States today. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Many of you are aware of the toll this terrible disease has taken on my family. Beginning with her diagnosis in 2004, we watched my mother, Rhoda Nagler, slowly deteriorate until her passing in April 2013. This is a disease that affects, not only the patient, but has a profound and lasting impact on family and friends as well. It is believed that, as the population ages, everyone will, at some point, be touched in some way by this disease. This is why it is so important for me to take action.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
