I have seen this disease hurt my family from my great grandpa who has passed away in 2017 and also seeing this horrible disease in our clients is a terrible thing to watch when I know there is nothing I can do for them. The only way to help them is offer their caregivers any help they need and to raise money to hopefully one day find a cure for this disease.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. The Walk to End Alzheimer's means a lot to me. In my line of work, we do see it develop in clients and it is heart breaking to see. We need to raise awareness about Alzheimer's and what we can do to help find a cure, but also help those who are helping family and friends fight this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
