Because of a family history, until she passed away, my mother-in-law was, and my wife Lynne is, part of a multi-generational study of Alzheimer’s disease at Washington University. Not exactly heroic, but it is something.
I plan to get up early Saturday morning to walk in this year’s Alzheimer’s Memory Walk. Not exactly heroic, but it is something.
As many of us have, I’ve joked over the years about losing my mind. If we live long enough, we all face the prospect of declining physical health, but a disease that attacks the mind may be the worst prospect of all. It is no joking matter.
If you haven’t taken the opportunity to give to this year’s effort, please give now.
If, like me, you’ve already given to a number of Alzheimer’s fund raisers and walk teams, please make one more donation.
My goal is for 100 donors to give $10. Not exactly heroic, but it is something.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
