I am volunteering as a co-chair for the Twin Cities Team Recruitment Committee for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. The Twin Cities Walk is expecting more than 12,000 people at Target Field in Minneapolis to help raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
I have lost my grandmother, two aunt's and most recently my mother-in-law to Alzheimer's. My hope is that a cure will be found soon so we can celebrate our first Alzheimer's survivor.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
