Join us at our Michigan State Advocacy Day in Lansing!

The Alzheimer's Association Michigan Chapter is inviting you to join us for our annual State Advocacy Day in Lansing on Tuesday, May 7 from 9:30 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Tentative agenda :
Coffee and Registration – 9:00 a.m.
Event Begins - 9:30 a.m.
Legislative Training – 10:00 a.m.
Lunch – 11:30 a.m.
House and Senate Legislative Meetings – 12:00 p.m.
Capitol Event and Awards Presentation in Heritage Hall – 2:30 p.m.
Depart Lansing – 3:00 p.m.

The purpose of this event is to:

Speak with our state senators and representatives about the needs of those living with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia and their families.

Raise awareness about Alzheimer's and related dementias among all legislators and state agencies.

Share your story of your family’s journey with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia with your state legislators and ask for their support.

Our voice is amplified in the Michigan State Capitol through our relentless advocates. By meeting with your lawmakers and sharing your Alzheimer's story you can make a difference.
