Alzheimer's is a cause that is very near to my heart and I believe effects almost everyone at some point in their life be it directly or through a loved one. Currently, more than 5 million Americans and almost 50 million people worldwide are living with this disease. My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 6 years ago. As I've watched her memories slowly slip away, I find myself treasuring every moment I have with her and making an effort to remember our times together as I know she can not.
I would like to thank everyone who supported me, my family, and most importantly my grandmother in helping to raise over $1,200 for the Alzheimer's Association last year. I'm again asking for your donations to help continue to support the Alzheimer's Association and the 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer's. Help me meet my goal of $1,000 and support further research for a cure to this brutal disease. All donations big or small help because when we work together for a common goal we can make a large difference in the world.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
