I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to
My mom, Karen was diagnosed with Early-Onset Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 50. Sadly, she passed away on July 11, 2016. My mom was such a beautiful person inside and out. Anyone who met her instantly knew how special she was. A quote that has resonated with my family throughout my mom's illness is "a heart that truly loves never forgets." We learned first hand that a mother's love has no boundaries and her love for us never faltered despite her illness. Although her disease had stripped her of many things, it did not take away her love, laughter and beautiful smile. We were so blessed to have her in our lives and miss her every day. Together, with her family and friends, we plan on celebrating her life and legacy by walking in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Please consider donating to our team, Karen's Crew!
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
