We begin this letter as we do every year, with the wish we did not have to send out this request and that the cure for Alzheimer’s disease has been uncovered. It has been said about Alzheimer’s Disease that, “There are no doors or exits, there is no reprieve or escape”. How sad and how true.
We applaud the work of the Alzheimer’s Association as they work to find a cure for this cruel disease and for the kindness, support and resources they provide for patients and their families. With your help and generosity we have raised well over $100,000 over the past 17 years and we will continue to do our best to live by their motto, The End of Alzheimer’s Begins With Me.
Once again we walk in honor of my beloved father, with the hopes that the youngest generation of our family (which will increase by one in December!) will live in a world without Alzheimer’s.
At 95, Audrey may not walk the walk, but she talks the talk and will be with us on September 22nd cheering us on, as we join thousands of other families who have been forever changed by this devastating disease.
We are grateful for any support you can provide and thank you so very much.
With Love and Appreciation,
Marion and the entire Cooper-Pollock Family
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
