This will be the 7th year for Karen's Crusaders to join together in the Walk to End Alzheimer's!
Karen Sales passed away in 2017 after a 10-year battle with Alzheimer’s. She was diagnosed with the disease in 2007 at the age of 60. For 10 years, Karen’s family and friends stood by helplessly as she was slowly robbed of her fun-loving and caring personality. With each passing year, she lost her ability to carry out day-to-day activities. Eventually she wasn’t even able to recognize or communicate with those she loved.
At this time, there is no cure for Alzheimer's or even a solid understanding of what causes the disease, so I ask that you please join Karen's Crusaders in the Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 6, 2019. Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and provide programs to help improve the lives of those who are impacted by the disease.
Last year our team had 16 walkers and raised a total of $1,965! This year our goal is $2,000!
Please remember that each time you talk about Alzheimer’s, you help raise awareness and inspire action!
Thank you in advance for your loving support and consideration!
