My late grandmother, Marilyn Balser, is and will always be my inspiration for participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Before passing away, my grandmother fought against Alzheimer's for 14 years and spent her last months living with me and my family on hospice care. She was a wonderful and loving woman, and I strive to make her proud of me through my efforts to end Alzheimer's Disease.
Here are a couple links to interviews I did in 2018 regarding my grandmother and my experience with Alzheimer’s:
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
