My Grandmother was a sarcastic, witty, and loving person with a huge heart. Her family was extremely important to her. My brother and I spent many days with her when we were younger. My most favorite memories of her were stories of growing up in Chicago and watching Cubs games.
A few years after her diagnosis, everything changed. Her sense of humor, her mobility, her communication, her memory, everything. Those stories she once told, were a distant memory for her. Our visits became elementary. She knew her family belonged to her, but could not tell you why.
This is my 6th year walking in honor of her. This fight is close and dear to my heart. Please help me in supporting the fight by joining Team Tee-Tee, or donating (no amount is too little) to help fund research and find a cure.
