I started working at the Alzheimer's Association in 2007. I started as a Walk manager and in January 2019 I became the Senior Statewide Walk Director. I oversee 25 Walks and an incredible team across the state. Together we have a goal of raising $4.6 million dollars this fall.
It's so easy to get lost in the weekly numbers and the stresses of the job, that we forget why we fight so hard to raise every dollar we can. We are making a difference in the lives of so many families facing a dementia diagnosis. Our website, our helpline, our education resources are often the first stop in their journey. The funds we raise provide the care and support services these families rely on, to manage the stresses and uncertainty that are brought on by dementia. The awareness you create in each of your communities leads to more people benefiting from our services. The money we raise is going toward research, that will one day lead to a cure for Alzheimer's. The impact you make each day will be apart of history.
We will see a white flower added to our promise gardens some day, and you will be a part of the journey that leads to that monumental moment.
Be apart of the history and donate today!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
