Hello all! As you all know I recently started to work for the Alzheimer's Association. While I have personal and professional experience with Alzheimer's I was truly unaware of the full extent of this disease. The strength of our loved ones who live with this disease and the strength of those who care for them day in a day out is outstanding and inspiring. I firmly believe that the first survivor of Alzheimer's is out there. I believe that the needs of our loved ones deserved to be honored and our caregivers deserve to be supported in a way that dignifies themselves as well.
To do this I am deciding to participate in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
