Nana and I have a special bond; we always have. We have been inseparable since I was nine weeks old. While my mom was at work, I would stay at Nana's home where we did all sorts of fun things together, such as working on puzzles, cooking crepes, and painting my nails - just to name a few. More recently, Nana has begun to forget her husband of nearly 53 years. I can tell that she does not know who I am, but she knows that I am someone she loves. She spends her days sitting outside or at the window watching the birds eat from one of the many feeders they have. Nana always loved watching the birds, and she still enjoys it today.
