Thank you so very much for visiting my page.
For me, participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's is very much like participating in St. Baldrick's - it's one of those things that I wish I was doing without a certain person to do it in honor of. But, in the way that life so often goes, I will be walking this October to honor my grandmother. I have seen firsthand the way that Alzheimer's has taken her memories away, and no one deserves to have their memory abandon them as the years go by. Though some long ago moments are still as fresh in her mind as last week's can be to the rest of us, it is a difficult thing to watch. Please consider supporting this worthy cause so we can walk toward a time when a person's memories truly are part of their forever.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
