I am walking on Saturday, September 14th in honor of my mother, Shirley Gately, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease for more than 8 years. The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Please help me to fight this disease that robs our loved ones of their memories, independence, personality and peace.
