Alzheimer's has impacted my family and my life in such a significant way. On October 19, 2018, shortly after last year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s of the Golden Isles was completed, we lost my sweet mother to the disease at the relatively young age of 72.
I was humbled and frankly overwhelmed by the generous support both financially and emotionally during the campaign to raise funds for the Walk
I am so proud to lead a team again in this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's of the Golden Isles, in memory of my mother, Lynn Copelan. I hope you will help support my team, We are ALZ in for Lynn, and our goal with a donation to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by the year 2050.
No donation is too small, and, together, we can end Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for joining the fight!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
