As many of you know, my Mom won her battle with Early Onset Alzheimer's August of last year. I say "won" as I can finally say she no longer has Alzheimer's, a disease that stripped her of her every being. She is finally free from suffering and back to her vibrant, life of the party self. She was diagnosed at the young age of 52 and was unfortunately taken ten years later still at the very young age of 62.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
We are walking for her and the others affected to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the 2019 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, we're committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care, and support. We need your support to do our part!
Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. The only way to stop it is by finding a cure or a way to slow the progression to give time to find a cure.
Thank you for joining our movement! I pray a cure comes in my lifetime. The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
