I lost my Dad in Dec 2016 to Alzheimers. But we really lost him a few years before. Its a horrible thing to miss someone when they are still alive, but they are already gone. He didnt know me anymore, and hadn't for close to 2 years before he passed away. Its tragic what this disease does to your mind and eventually to your body. I have siblings and we have tested higher than normal for getting Alzheimer''s Disease. I don't want my children to see me they way I had to see my Dad. Its hard to remember the good when the bad was so bad. Please consider helping with a donation if possible! Remember Alzheimer's is 100% FATAL!!! There are no survivors! We need funding for research!!!!
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
