It is hard to believe that it has been over a year since my wife passed away from this terrible disease. On a number of occasions I have actually turned into the parking lot of the Nursing Home where she stayed. It seems like only yesterday and even though the days get a little easier, there are still many moments of tears and sadness. I think of the plans we made and what we were going to be doing at this stage of our lives and that is now just a memory and one that will not be fulfilled. Our team, "Becky's Brigade" will continue to participate in the Alzheimer walk with the purpose of raising money to help fund a cure for this disease so hopefully, in the future, it does not take the lives of others. Becky was diagnosed at age 59 and suffered for twelve years. I only hope we can do our part to help end this so that others can live and enjoy a full life. If you are able to help me on this venture, please send a donation, no matter how big or how small. I appreciate all you can do to help. Thank you.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
