Some of you may know that my father, Stanley Klein, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease several years ago. It’s been devastating to witness the decline of a person I love so much, and who is one of the smartest and most charismatic and, without a doubt, the funniest person I know.
Raising money for research for this disease without a cure, which my grandmother also succumbed to, is very important to me. Alzheimer's disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States, and the only one in the top 10 with no proven method of prevention, treatment, or cure.
