It's my second year walking to help raise money to fight this horrible disease. Alzheimer's has robbed my father Stanley of his memorable sense of humor, charm, and intellect, as well as so many other of my friend's parents and family members. He has always been one of the smartest and funniest people in my life, and it's been devastating to witness his decline.
Raising money for research for this disease without a cure, which my grandmother also succumbed to, is very important to me. I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer' s®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's, and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association and/or walk with my family and me in City Park on September 14, 2019.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
