Yes !! I am participating in the Walk to end Alzheimer's again this year.My Father is still hanging in there and still loves his music and jokes!! My father Dr. Bob Marshall has Alzheimer's disease. What I choose to remember when I am with my dad is his life as my hero. A brilliant cardiologist that put himself through medical school at Johns Hopkins, taught us to ski , run for fun and laugh instead of cry. He doesn't remember my family anymore , but until recently when his brain can't form the words, could tell you he had all A's in school except art which he flunked ! My dad loved singing and sailing and was dedicated to saving peoples lives. He was a founding member of the Denver cardiology group. I am walking this year in honor of my dad .We hope he can join us on the walk if his body is still able.! He has no idea he has dementia and thinks he still runs 5 miles a day , so the 2 miles will be a breeze. If you feel so inclined , please donate or just cheer us on. Or even better , join our team and share your story and help us raise money and awareness for the fight against Alzheimer's .
Love to All. Marla Marshall Haley
