Carlyle and I are walking together again in this year's Denver Walk to End Alzheimer's, just like we've partnered in everything during our wonderful 56 years together. You can see in this photo that it is a fun day, joining with the many who together promise to honor, remember, care and fight!
And guess what? This year we are walking with our newly formed team named Heather Gardens, with the many in our senior community who want to join together to fight this disease. The prevalence of Alzheimer's Disease is growing - and growing fast. An estimated 5.8 million Americans of all ages are living with Alzheimer's Disease. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 14 million.
We are dealing with this in a very personal way, and are so grateful for all the support the Alzheimer's Association provides. That's why we're committed to raising awareness and funds to support Alzheimer's care, support and research, and we're asking for your help. Any amount you can donate will be a step in that direction, and we thank you! Our team is Heather Gardens, and William Carlyle Spohr's name is listed as a participant, also, so you can donate to either of us. Donations are tax-deductible, secure, and every dollar makes a difference in this fight!
AND, if you live in the Denver area, we would love for you to join our team and walk with us!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
