I'm walking in honor of my father, Charles G. Wedeking, who entered into rest on February 25, 2013. I'm also walking to help speed the research process to help a number of close friends who need the cure now! In addition, I am walking to reclaim the future for millions, maybe even myself! By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Your future and my future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.

Come cheer us on at the finish line!
It is so easy to join and it will be lots of fun! I will have my famous BROWNIES for everyone who is part of the Wedeking Girls team at the end of the walk! You must be present to get your BROWNIES. (Please let me know so I have enough BROWNIES.)
Thank you for joining the movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with you.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
