My mom went to UCLA and UC Berkeley in the 1950s and raised five children! In addition to working, she was an avid volunteer for the Catholic church, arts and political causes - she served as a delegate to the CA Democratic Convention when Jerry Brown was party chair! Even when money was tight she'd send a small donation to St. Anthony's Dining Room in SF.

Her indominatable spirit remained until the very end of her life. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is exactly the type of family event, community gathering and fundraiser she would have volunteered for and donated to. Because my mom is no longer here, I am proud to walk and raise money for a cure in her name: HOPE!
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
