I'm participating in the the Walk to End Alzheimer's to honor the memory of my mother, Patricia Hursh, who passed away from a dementia related disease in 2014. I am incredibly happy for the 17 years I got to spend with her before her dementia began, but I wish we had so much more time. I use the walk to reflect on the good times we got to spend together when she was whole and to think of a future when Alzheimer's doesn't exist.
I'm raising money to help the 5.8 million Americans that are living with Alzheimer's right now, as well as their 16 million unpaid caregivers. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for your support.
